What is Health Professions Week?

HPW is an exciting week-long event for high school and college students interested in learning more about careers in the health professions. Each event will provide students with interactive opportunities to explore health-related education programs and careers. HPW will include an online treasure hunt, on-campus events offered by schools of nursing, and a two-day virtual fair.

How Can My School Participate?

Health profession institutions, programs, and advisors are invited to join the HPW team for this inaugural event! We encourage you to promote HPW to interested students in your area and develop interprofessional student enrichment activities that expose students to the myriad of health profession careers available to them.

See a description of the daily HPW events and suggestions on how your institution can contribute and get involved. The suggestions serve as a starting point. We encourage you to be innovative and imagine bigger and better ways to make the HPW a success.
