The 2024-2025 NursingCAS Application Cycle opened on August 8, 2024 and includes programs that begin in the following semesters: Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and Spring 2026.

The last date to submit to the 2023-2024 cycle is January 31, 2025. You will need to submit your application for the 2023-2024 cycle by 11:59 PM EST on January 31, 2025 for it to be considered by your program of interest (note that you must abide by your selected program’s deadline).

You are able to create a new account or log back into an existing account using the “Re-Applicant” feature. The Re-Applicant Feature allows you to carry over your data and transcripts from your previous NursingCAS application to the 2024-2025 application. The “Re-Applicant” feature is available to all users who had an active NursingCAS account during the previous application cycle regardless of whether your application was verified or even submitted to a program during that time. Additional details are available on this webpage.

Reminder: 2023-2024 Academic Update Window Open through August 23

The 2023-2024 Spring/Summer Academic Update (AU) window opened on Friday, May 24 and will close on Friday, August 23:

  • 2023-2024 cycle: May 24, 2024 – August 23, 2024, 11:59 p.m. ET

Please review and complete the three-step process to submit an AU request by the designated deadline above.

The AU allows applicants to update final grades for previously entered planned/in-progress coursework (i.e. Spring 2024) or enter newly-planned coursework (i.e. Fall 2024) since NursingCAS verification. Applicants are eligible for AU if at least one of their programs is in ‘Verified’ status by the AU request deadline. Application status can be viewed under the Check Status tab in NursingCAS. Upon submission of the AU request, NursingCAS will verify the applicant’s new grades, calculate an updated GPA, and send this information to their programs. While an AU is optional, some programs require this information for admissions consideration.

Students are encouraged to submit their request for new transcripts to their Registrar’s Office ASAP to allow plenty of processing/mailing time.
