Abilene Christian University is currently accepting applications to our online BSN to DNP and DNP programs for the Fall 2020 term. Our BSN to DNP pathway program is designed for students who currently have their BSN and are looking to move quickly into a DNP program. Our DNP program is designed to help students develop their clinical and leadership skills through two distinct tracks — Executive Nursing Leadership and Advanced Practice Nurse. Oakland University

We are accepting applications for our January 2021, 16-month BSN program. This is a program for students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree or will complete it before January 2021. The final application deadline for this program is August 15th, 2020 but we have already started admitting students for this cohort!
We are also accepting applications for our May 2021 Accelerated Track Nursing BSN program. This is a 12-month program for students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree or will complete it before the program start date.

Medical University of South Carolina
New Mental Health Certification to Address a Critical Need
The MUSC College of Nursing continues to address the mental health challenges in South Carolina and around the country by opening a new post-graduate certificate program. The new online Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Lifespan Certification allows advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to provide a continuum of mental health treatment, support, recovery, and prevention services across the patient’s lifespan. It also will allow APRNs to expand their scope of practice by attaining a second certification in psychiatric mental health, in addition to their primary care or acute care certifications.
The part-time program, which takes 16-months to complete, is available to APRN licensed primary care or acute care certified nurse practitioners and certified clinical nurse specialists in psychiatric-mental health. The post-masters PMHNP certificate program will prepare qualified nurses to sit for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification exam.
