Reminder: 2022-2023 Cycle Close

The 2022-2023 NursingCAS application cycle will close on January 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. That is the last date you will be able to submit your application. That is also the last date for deadlines on the current application and the last day for applicants in the “Undelivered” status to resubmit their application. We recommend that applicants save and print a PDF copy of their current application for record keeping purposes even though you will be able to carry your data and transcripts over to the next application cycle using the Re-Applicant feature.

The 2023 – 2024 NursingCAS Application Cycle opened on August 10, 2023.

The 2023 – 2024 NursingCAS application cycle opened on August 10. Applicants are able to create a new account or log back into an existing account using the “Re-Applicant” feature. The Re-Applicant Feature allows you to carry over your data and transcripts from your previous NursingCAS application to the 2023 – 2024 application. The “Re-Applicant” feature is available to all users who had an active NursingCAS account during the previous application cycle regardless of whether your application was verified or even submitted to a program during that time.

Reminder: 2023-2024 Academic Update Window

The 2023-2024 Fall Academic Update I window opened on Friday, December 15, 2023, and will close on Friday, February 16, 2024.

  • 2023-2024 cycle: December 15, 2023 – February 16, 2024. 11:59 p.m. ET

Please review and complete the three-step process to submit an AU request by the designated deadline above.

The AU allows applicants to update final grades for previously entered planned/in-progress coursework (i.e. Fall 2023) or enter newly planned coursework (i.e. Spring 2024) since NursingCAS verification. Applicants are eligible for AU if at least one of their programs is in ‘Verified’ status by the AU request deadline. Application status can be viewed under the Check Status tab in NursingCAS. Upon submission of the AU request, NursingCAS will verify the applicant’s new grades, calculate an updated GPA, and send this information to their programs. While an AU is optional, some programs require this information for admissions consideration.

Students are encouraged to submit their request for new transcripts to their Registrar’s Office ASAP to allow plenty of processing/mailing time.
