Attend the Discover Nursing Virtual Fair to Learn More about Graduate & Second Degree Nursing Programs

Are you interested in starting or advancing your career in nursing? This is your opportunity to meet with nursing school representatives to learn more about graduate nursing education and second degree nursing programs. Register for this free event hosted by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and NursingCAS to connect with nursing school admissions counselors and advisors and to learn more about your education options. The Discover Nursing Virtual Fair  will be held on September 19, from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM ET. This event is designed to easily connect nursing schools with prospective students via an online platform, no travel required. For more information on the event, visit the virtual fair page.

Andrews University

Andrews University continues to recruit applicants into the Fall 2019 cohorts of our online RN-BSN and DNP programs. It is not too late to apply. With a BSN degree, you can complete the DNP program with FNP focus in 4.5 years. We also admit prospective students with MSN degrees to our DNP program with FNP or Nursing Education focus. Barry University

Barry University is a Catholic institution situated in sunny Miami Shores, Florida. The University is home to a diverse body of students from a variety of geographic, ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds, and is committed to the highest academic standards in undergraduate and graduate education. Our nursing programs are accredited both nationally and regionally (CCNE, SACS). We are currently accepting applications for our 6-semester Traditional Option BSN, starting in January 2020. If accepted to the Traditional Option, you will also have the opportunity to apply for admission to the Baptist Scholar’s Program. A selected group of students complete their studies at Baptist Hospital in Kendall and may be provided with an opportunity for employment within the Baptist Healthcare system upon completion of the program. Tuition for these highly-qualified and motivated students is substantially reduced. We are also accepting applications for our January 2020 Accelerated Option BSN. The Accelerated Option program is designed for those who already have a bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than nursing. Ready to start your nursing career? Eastern Mennonite University

EMU currently is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2020 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) cohort. EMU will be participating in the upcoming NursingCAS virtual fair held on September 19th. 

EMU nursing graduates develop a personal art of nursing, having a sense of the sacred in moments and places, and a profound sense of respect for all people. Edgewood College

The post-master’s DNP program application for Spring 2020 entry is now open with a priority deadline of August 15, 2019! We are reviewing and interviewing applicants who submit applications prior by the priority deadline. The DNP program prepares graduates to exercise advanced levels of clinical judgment, systems thinking, and expanded responsibility and accountability in planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based strategies to improve individual patient and population health outcome. William Jewell College

I am so excited to share with you that William Jewell College is still accepting Transfer Nursing Applications for Fall 2019. If you have started earning your degree elsewhere but are interested in pursuing your BSN at a four-year institution, consider William Jewell College! To be eligible for our program applicants must: Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8. Complete the application packet. Complete the pre-requisite courses before the term start date. The South Dakota State University Accelerated BSN in Aberdeen, South Dakota has extended its application on a rolling basis until August 15th.

 

 New Programs

Abilene Christian University

ACU is excited to announce a new online program — a BSN to DNP pathway that gets students to their completed Doctor of Nursing Practice in a shorter period of time. This program is designed for students who currently have their BSN and are looking to move quickly into a DNP program. While this 18-credit hour bridge does not result in a stand-alone Master of Science in Nursing degree, it does allow students to transition directly into the DNP coursework with no additional admission process. In addition, students will be able to obtain clinical hours during the bridge program. The first BSN to DNP program cohort will start on August 27, 2019. Applications can be submitted now through August 12.


Florida International University

The world needs more heroes. Become one. Complete your Nurse Practitioner Education with FIU: Our Post-BSN to DNP program curriculum is streamlined to award the MSN degree (i.e. Adult-Gerontology, Pediatric, Psychiatric-Mental Health, or Family Health clinical specialty), allowing the students to sit for Advanced Practice Nursing national certification at the MSN level and continue enrollment into the last semesters of doctoral preparation; our designated clinical department assists students with one-on-one clinical placements.
