All DNP programs have two required onsite visits: Orientation & DNP presentation. Nurse Midwifery students attend occasional onsite intensives. Neonatal, Peds Acute Care NP, and post-MSN AGPC NP programs are only available to residents of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
There is a critical need for expert clinical leaders in health care today. This program can provide you with additional knowledge and skills in clinical practice and leadership to make a more profound difference in improving health outcomes both locally and abroad. In this program you will not only learn how to exert leadership to change care delivery for populations, but you will also learn the outcomes research skills needed to evaluate clinical practice.
The DNP program is an online program with on campus required immersion meetings. Students will be on campus for one to three days at the beginning and end of each fall and spring term for immersion activities. The dates and times you are required to be on campus are based on the courses you are enrolled in each term. The majority of course content is online and clinical rotations are a precepted arrangement.
