  • Open Seats: One of the benefits of NursingCAS is to provide notifications to applicants about programs that have available space. Review the listing below to determine if you would like to apply to one of these programs.
  • Deadline Extensions: Programs often extend their deadlines in order to allow applicants more time to complete the admissions process. Review the list below to see if any programs you are interested in have extended their deadline.
  • New Programs: New programs are added to NursingCAS on a continual basis. Discover and learn about new program offerings available to you by reviewing the listings below.

Applicants can also view the NursingCAS Events Calendar, where NursingCAS schools provide prospective students with information on events like upcoming webinars and information sessions throughout the application cycle.

NursingCAS is hosting our Preparing and Strengthening Your NursingCAS Application webinar on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET. Register to attend this webinar and stay well-informed on applicant best practices.

Webinar content includes:

  • Detailed overview of the NursingCAS application
  • Guidance on requesting transcripts and submitting coursework entry
  • Answers to FAQs (application statuses, references, etc.)
  • Tips to avoid common mistakes
  • Recommendations to ensure quick application processing times
  • Resources available for NursingCAS applicants

The event is open to current and future NursingCAS applicants and will be led by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and NursingCAS. The webinar will be recorded and shared with registrants following the event.

California State University East Bay

The Cal State East Bay Master of Science in Nursing Program seeks to prepare nurses from our diverse, multicultural community to be effective leaders in clinical and academic settings. The curriculum expands upon baccalaureate nursing practice and prepares nurses with broad knowledge and advanced skills needed for a higher level of nursing practice and leadership. The program allows for pathways to teaching and organizational leadership as well as to doctoral education focused on practice or research. The program provides graduate nursing education in an accessible and flexible delivery approach of online courses. The program is designed to be completed in 4 semesters (full-time) and can also be completed on a part-time basis.

Concordia University Wisconsin

Concordia University Wisconsin has open seats for the online RN to BSN Completion program for the Summer (May or June) and Fall (August or October) semesters! Apply and submit your NursingCAS application today! This program requires you to have your RN through an associate’s degree program and you must be working as an RN. Classes are online in an 8-week format with an option to attend year-round, allowing you the flexibility you need to complete your BSN.

Harding University

The application is open for Harding University’s Master of Science in Nursing programs: Family Nurse Practitioner and Master’s Entry Level into Professional Nursing. Scholarships are available for eligible admitted students. Apply now!

  • Master of Science in Nursing –Family Nurse Practitioner: Available to registered nurses with a Bachelor’s of Science in nursing and higher degrees, this program prepares family nurse practitioners for outpatient settings across the lifespan. The program consists of online courses with on-campus intensives three times throughout the entire program. Part-time and full-time tracks are available. Now admitting in Fall, Spring, and Summer.   • Master of Science in Nursing –Master’s Entry into Professional Nursing: Harding offers the first prelicensure program in Arkansas, preparing students to become advanced entry-level professional nurses who graduate with a Master of Science in nursing. The master’s entry into professional nursing will include a focus on health care administration and leadership. The five-semester program is offered year-round. Completed applications are reviewed upon submission.

Two tracks are available for the MEPN program:

  1. Traditional track for those with bachelor’s degree in any field.*
  2. Early entry track for those with 90 undergraduate credit hours.*

*Both MEPN tracks require Arkansas nursing prerequisites

Howard University

Howard University College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences is accepting applications for our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Programs.

Kettering College

Are you looking for an opportunity to broaden your impact as a leader and ready to take the next step in your nursing career? If so, check out the Master of Science in Nursing degree at Kettering College. The program is currently accepting applications for the August 2025 cohort (deadline July 1).

The MSN program is focused in nursing leadership and is designed to prepare nurses for leadership roles in the rapidly changing healthcare environment – from the bedside to the boardroom. The 39-credit program is scheduled for completion over two years (six semesters) with courses offered online and practicum experiences arranged with healthcare facilities close to the student’s geographic area. Courses are designed for working professionals, and core content includes leadership, health promotion, organizational behavior, human resources, financial management, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, professional identity, mentoring, and more.

Graduates are academically prepared for the Certified Nurse Manager and Leader certification offered by the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). Cohorts begin in August and January of each academic year.

We have extended the Fall 2025 Graduate Application Deadline to April 15, 2025. This is just the deadline to submit your application. Your documents can be submitted afterwards. If you can submit your NursingCAS application by the new deadline, you will qualify for a secondary LLU application fee waiver. The secondary LLU application is emailed to you once your NursingCAS application is submitted.

Nightingale College

Nursing Education (MSN Ed) – Learners will develop advanced knowledge and skills in:

  • Instructional nursing
  • Working and educating in diverse settings such as hospitals, community agencies, schools, industry and businesses, and academic nursing programs.
  • NOTE: This program is offered in all U.S. states.

All programs emphasize patient-centered care and provide advanced skills tailored to specific areas of nursing practice. Each track equips learners with tools to enhance their careers and contribute to the healthcare field as practitioners or educators.

Regis College

Regis College is accepting applications to the full-time Direct Entry Master’s in Nursing for Non-Nurses program. The program starts in the Fall only, with clinicals starting that same semester.

We require seven prerequisites (Chemistry I and II, Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Microbiology, Statistics, and Human Development) which can be fulfilled through undergraduate course work or after at other institutions. You may apply and be accepted without all prerequisites having been completed; however, all prerequisites must be completed by the start of the program in September. We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2025 on a rolling admission basis.

The Master of Science in Nursing for Entry into Nursing Practice (MENP) program at Rosalind Franklin University is a 24-month program to prepare students for both fundamental nursing concepts and the multifaceted evolving skills to join, and ultimately lead, the nursing profession.

DEADLINE EXTENSIONS


Oregon Health & Science University

Exciting update for the OHSU School of Nursing! The application deadline for the Klamath Falls and Monmouth bachelor’s in nursing programs has been extended until May 1.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. This means applications to start in Fall 2025 will be reviewed as they are received, so we recommend submitting your application early. Some additional announcements:

  • For the Klamath Falls campus, your deadline to complete the 28 prerequisite credits is extended to the end of Winter 2025.
  • For the Monmouth campus, admitted students may be eligible for a $4,000 annual scholarship.

NEW PROGRAMS


Arkansas State University – Jonesboro

Arkansas State University – Jonesboro is now a member of NursingCAS!

The Arkansas State University Nurse Anesthesia Program graduated its first cohort of Nurse Anesthetists in 2005. Since that time, the program has graduated over 650 students. Our program offers a full scope of practice and educational experiences in over 20 clinical sites in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nurse Anesthesia is a 36-month, 114-credit hour, full-time program that prepares Registered Nurses for entry into Nurse Anesthesia practice.


Missouri State University – Anesthesia

Missouri State University – Anesthesia is now a member of NursingCAS!

The Missouri State University School of Anesthesia provides the scientific foundation and clinical training that prepares anesthesia providers as certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) at the clinical doctorate level. Learn more about the DNAP program on our website.


The University of San Francisco

The University of San Francisco has launched a new Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Health Systems Leadership program to provide Master’s-educated RNs with a solid foundation in understanding the current and future state of health care systems. Applications are now open for a Fall 2025 start!

This program allows students to focus their future leadership in specific concentration areas: clinical education & simulation, management, or population health. The program is offered in a hybrid format and can be completed in seven semesters (about three years).

University of Sioux Falls
