Reminder: 2022-2023 Academic Update Window will open May 26

The 2022-2023 Spring/Summer Academic Update (AU) window will open on Friday, May 26:

  • 2022-2023 cycle: May 26, 2023 – August 26, 2023, 11:59 p.m. ET

Please review and complete the three-step process to submit an AU request by the designated deadline above.

The AU allows applicants to update final grades for previously entered planned/in-progress coursework (i.e. Spring 2022) or enter newly planned coursework (i.e. Fall 2023) since NursingCAS verification. Applicants are eligible for AU if at least one of their programs is in ‘Verified’ status by the AU request deadline. Application status can be viewed under the Check Status tab in NursingCAS. Upon submission of the AU request, NursingCAS will verify the applicant’s new grades, calculate an updated GPA, and send this information to their programs. While an AU is optional, some programs require this information for admissions consideration.

Students are encouraged to submit their request for new transcripts to their Registrar’s Office ASAP to allow plenty of processing/mailing time.

Heritage University, Toppenish

Check out the nursing programs at Heritage University!

We are different than most “upper division” BSN programs where you take two or three years of prerequisites before being considered for admission. We have fewer prerequisites! Heritage University’s BSN Program is a 4-year program. We admit students to the sophomore (second) year. Students study nursing for three years: sophomore, junior, and senior year. After admission to the BSN program, students take some liberal arts, math, and science courses at the same time as their nursing courses. Therefore, the Heritage Program has fewer pre-requisite courses than most BSN programs. You will likely be eligible for admission with only two semesters or three quarters of college. Don’t wait until you have finished two or three years of prerequisites! Consider applying now!

For more information on our program and how to apply, please check out our Admission Page!
