Creighton University College of Nursing is still accepting applications and have seats available for the Accelerated BSN program starting Spring 2017. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so applicants can receive an admission decision within just a few weeks of a completed application.

Harding University has open seats for Spring 2017 admission in our Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN) program. Application deadline for Spring admission is 11/11/16, but seats may be filled on a first come basis. Please call our office at 501-279-4859 for further information.
Harding University Carr College of Nursing offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a family nurse practitioner (FNP) track. The curriculum is 45 semester credit hours. Clinical practicum experiences are designed to expose students to a variety of patients across the life-span. Full (5 semesters) and part-time (8 semesters) options are available. A Second Masters (eligible for Federal Financial Aid) and a Post Masters Certificate (Not eligible for Federal Financial Aid, but private loan options may be available) are also available.
The program is primarily delivered in an online format. On Campus experiences are also required ~ once each semester for 3-5 days.

New semester, new building! Undergraduate nursing courses will be held at the new Center for Health Professions (CHP) starting spring 2017. The CHP has been renovated to include four large active learning classrooms, two large skills labs, three simulated clinic rooms, and four state of the art simulation labs. Brand new simulators, including expectant mother Victoria, will be installed this fall. The CHP also has plenty of comfortable student space for studying, lounging, or doing group work.

University of Tennessee Health Science Center
The Post Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Advance Practice Nurse (APN) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program, scheduled to open in Fall 2017, provides didactic and clinical experiences for DNP prepared APNs seeking a new certification as a PMHNP. Graduates will be prepared to assess, diagnose, and manage individuals and families across the lifespan with psychiatric disorders, or the potential for such disorders, using a full scope of therapeutic skills including the prescription of medication and administration of psychotherapy.
The plan of study requires 23 credit hours (14 didactic-9 clinical), and meets the American Nurse Credentialing Center requirement for 500 face to face clinical hours for new certification as a PMHNP.
The Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner concentration of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, scheduled to open Fall, 2017, will prepare graduates to provide family-centered and evidence-based care to pediatric patients, newborn to adolescent, who have acute, complex, critical and chronic conditions in a variety of settings.
The program is built on a foundation in pediatric developmental theory coupled with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge to prepare the student to independently diagnose and treat acute, complex, critical and chronic health conditions seen in children and adolescents.
Mentored clinical practice experiences, typically occurring in pediatric chronic clinics, inpatient floors, intensive care units, urgent care and emergency rooms, provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care at the highest level. Graduates are eligible to take national certification examinations as pediatric acute care nurse practitioners.
We are also now offering a completely online RN to BSN program starting Spring 2017! We are still accepting applications and seats are still available.
