Sandbox is a duplicate test platform useful for testing and training purposes; any actions performed in Sandbox will not affect the live data in production. This tool provides users with a safe, “near-production” environment to submit test applications and run sample exports, among other actions. The WebAdMIT Sandbox is a copy of the WebAdMIT production environment with sensitive applicant information (such as surnames, email addresses, etc.) obfuscated. The WebAdMIT Sandbox is refreshed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. ET every Monday. If Monday is a US or Canadian holiday, deployment is the next business day and includes all system changes from the preceding release. The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment is refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current Sandbox will be overwritten. NursingCAS Member Accreditation Stats Accreditation ensures that nursing education programs across the United States are being held to common standards of quality. This furthers the profession and greatly enhances the overall quality of care administered by nurses. A school can have more than one type of accreditation, including multiple types of national accreditation as well as both national and regional accreditation. NursingCAS recognizes national accreditation from five major accrediting bodies: the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME), the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA), and the Council on Accreditation (COA). NursingCAS has added a feature to our 2024-2025 application that enables schools to list their accrediting body for the benefit of prospective applicants. In the 2023-2024 NursingCAS cycle, the accreditation status of participating schools broke down as follows (note that schools can receive accreditation from multiple accrediting bodies):
Do you know what your nursing program’s accrediting body is? Keep track of your accreditation status and make sure to stay informed on upcoming reviews!

If you are exporting data into a campus system, work with your IT team to determine if updates need to be made. New lookup table values appeared in the Applicant Portal on September 8, 2024. You can view the lookup value changes on the Shared Lookup Table Updates page. If your school created a “crosswalk” from the WebAdMIT data to the local data in your campus system’s Student Information System (SIS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, it might need to be updated with newly added options, once released. Q&AQ: Why does NursingCAS utilize overlapping cycles instead of one continuously operating application? A: NursingCAS runs on a 17-month cycle that is linked to specific matriculation terms. With nearly 300 participating schools and thousands of available programs in every degree type, the NursingCAS cycle system is aimed at accommodating the needs of a diverse profession with open and close dates that vary from program to program. This includes programs that admit far in advance of matriculation – such as Nurse Anesthesia programs. The 17-month structure also allows us to deliver a streamlined application experience where prospective students can accurately self-select programs based on their desired matriculation term. To view our current cycle dates and matriculation terms, visit the NursingCAS website. If you have questions about which cycle would be most appropriate for your programs, please reach out to WebAdMIT support at webadmitsupport@liaisonedu.com. Support for WebAdMIT School Users Make sure to sign up to receive important notices through the Liaison CAS Status page for updates on future CAS and WebAdMIT outages.
