WebAdMIT Sandbox Environment Refresh Are you utilizing the WebAdMIT Sandbox? If not, you should be! Sandbox is a duplicate test platform useful for testing and training purposes; any actions performed in Sandbox will not affect the live data in production. This tool provides users with a safe, “near-production” environment to submit test applications and run sample exports, among other actions. The WebAdMIT Sandbox is a copy of the WebAdMIT production environment with sensitive applicant information (such as surnames, email addresses, etc.) obfuscated. The WebAdMIT Sandbox is refreshed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. ET every Monday. If Monday is a US or Canadian holiday, deployment is the next business day and includes all system changes from the preceding release. The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment is refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current Sandbox will be overwritten. Now Available – Shared Lookup Table Updates for Fall 2024 Please pass this important information along to your IT team. If you are exporting data into a campus system, work with your IT team to determine if updates need to be made. New lookup table values appeared in the Applicant Portal on September 8, 2024. You can view the lookup value changes on the Shared Lookup Table Updates page. If your school created a “crosswalk” from the WebAdMIT data to the local data in your campus system’s Student Information System (SIS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, it might need to be updated with newly added options, once released. Q&AQ: What is the difference between a “Completed” application and a “Verified” application? A: The status of an application depends not only upon the applicant, but also upon the way that the transcript and coursework sections have been configured by your school. If your school does not require Official Transcripts – meaning that you accept unofficial transcripts or do not require transcripts at all – then the final stage that an application can reach is “Complete.” If your school requires Official Transcripts, the final status that an application can reach is “Verified.” If schools in this category do not require full coursework entry from applicants – requiring prerequisite entry only or no coursework entry instead – then NursingCAS will provide schools with per-transcript and overall GPAs. However, schools that require official transcripts and full coursework entry will be provided with more specific GPAs, including GPAs by course subject, GPAs by school, and GPAs by academic year. “Verification” is the process used to ensure that all coursework has been entered correctly and consistently. This process is necessary because credit values, grade values, and course subjects vary widely from schools to school, and standardization is required so that schools can accurately compare applicants. Below is a quick overview of how your program requirements impact the status of an application. For additional information, please visit this page in the NursingCAS Applicant Help Center. For more information on transcript and coursework requirements, please visit the Colleges Attended and Transcript Entry pages in the NursingCAS Applicant Help Center. If you would like to change the way that your transcript and coursework sections are configured for an upcoming cycle, please make note of this during the configuration process that takes place in late spring/early summer. If you have any questions, please reach out to the WebAdMIT Help Center (information provided below).
