The Configuration Portal for the 2021-2022 NursingCAS cycle opened on Tuesday, May 25. The Configuration Portal allows users to edit program pages, features, and requirements for the upcoming cycle. A critical update regarding the removal of 4 background questions from the application was discussed by AACN. Guidance is provided on the NursingCAS website.
The webinar provided an overview of configuration steps, tips for cycle rollover, and important changes. The webinar also covered the following topics:

- Information on the new configuration process location: Prelaunch vs. Production portals
- Outline of the 2021-2022 cycle dates and matriculation terms

- Strategies for a seamless admissions process, including tips on how to improve a program’s home/branding page to increase recruitment efforts, how to communicate program changes to applicants, and how to integrate applicant data with campus systems.
