Discover Nursing Virtual Fair – October 7, 2021

AACN is excited to announce the NursingCAS Discover Nursing Virtual Fair will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021! This Virtual Fair is offered only to NursingCAS participating schools and allows programs to chat virtually with prospective students in their personalized chat rooms in this live, online event. Last year’s event included 3,334 students from 49 states and 36 countries, with 115 colleges of nursing participating. AACN will promote the Fair to 95,000+ current NursingCAS applicants. The chatroom will be available to NursingCAS schools from 10am-8pm EST, and programs can select their chat hours during that time frame. AACN would like to have all NursingCAS schools participate if possible!  

The school registration fee is $395 and ends on Thursday, September 30. Website and event sponsorships are also available.

NEW feature: Schools are able to purchase an additional event room for $100 more with their registration. This option will allow schools to host the event across two rooms (instead of one room!) with a maximum of 16 program representatives simultaneously. Institutions can differentiate the rooms by degree levels, program types, presentations, and participants (faculty, grad students, admissions, etc.).

During the Fair, schools will be able to:

• Engage with applicants on a unique, cost-effective platform
• Interact with prospective students in a group or private chat or video
• Offer panel discussions or presentations with students, admissions staff, and faculty
• Choose their chat hours during the day or evening
• Attend the event from anywhere-zero travel required!
• Set up different chat hours for various degree programs
• Encourage their prospective students to attend

At the end of the event, participating programs will receive a complete list of all registered candidates, including names and emails. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to interact with potential applicants!
